The at least 2 important ingredients : A sincere interest in the other person
an openness to them about yourself
Remember smth when talkin to someone- " Everyone is ignorant, only on different subject."
" Everyone is expert on something. Everybody's got
at least one subject they love to talk about."
Alway respect their expertise. Your listeners will be able to tell whether u are doing it sincerely. If they don;t feel you are listening attentively. When is your turn there is no way we can bring them or win them back . ( By Larry king but the sentence is restructured hope the meaning is still there )
Be candor (freedom from bias; fairness and frank) to your speaker!
