shuang birthday!! Bestie for 2 decades+ Cookin competition

HAPpy birthday my bestie... !!!!OMG we been livin with each other for 2decades now is so long i think ppl will not believe. althought today is her birthday but she is gg to HK! we celebrate till about 2am n she text me till 3am n she got to reach airport at 6.30am.


i buy her favourite ice cream but 4get to pass to her ...

We had mac as dinner / supper secret recipe cake chocolate with strawaberries her sis(yan) brought with Moet Chandon ..joe (yan bf)brought it and i have been eyeing that champagne for so long at last i got to drink dat... coz after gg to my wine course i see that champagne in magazine n alway wanna try it... well it turn out not bad . not dat tannin n well rounded gd to part with chocolate cakes!




zzz till about 8am and get ready for my cookin competition! We reach at 2.15pm and the compeition start at about 3pm but the host reach at about 4pm. Meanwhile i chopped my garlic, onion , ginger , lemon. mango n toufu.

I am gg to prepare a cold dish , starter with the main base kimchi.. the chef (jeff)there was tellin me n my partner xt he got high expectation with our dish haha.. before that we already met he was friendly n sort of like our ideal of cold toufu i guess is creative... and he was like tellin me how to make it better.. but was tellin all my frenz he is nt being bias haha..

When the compeition started jeff ask me to prepare 1 for him haha... wondering he wanna put this starter in his menu is it??? When the judges was tastin my food they are like smilin which brighten my day!! wahaha even DJ from 9.33 li yi was lookin at me n smilin at me hehe.. so pai sae she noe i was lookin at her when she is tastin my dish. Yang n Si min dish was voted the most popular by the aduience..
Before they announced the prize li yi give some comments on all the dishes. So their comments on my dish was like it was full of surprise haha... coz the toufu , mango n kimchi is soft when they eatin it there is peanut n anchovies they are shock. the comment was the dish is full of surprises .... which mean my effort is not wasted! at least this is wad i think... when they announce i got 2nd prize i was astonished coz i onli try this dish twice in our sch kitchen on last thursday .. ended up we won! if Yang nv give me this chance to join the competition n givin her ideal to me i dun think i will win anythin. Thanks Shalee n Hx bringin me to the place. Lastly Xt my partner trustin my creativness on makin it into a cold dish instead of a normal hot toufu pot with kimchi. Was overjoyed n surprise... at least i help SP to won smth . i like my cold dishes... i ask jeff wad happen to our dish he told us the toufu was too thin. ok 2nd prize i am proud of cookin skill... pls ppl out there i can cook!! lolz...







After we got my 2nd prize was smilin all the way for my SP cameraman to take pic for their magazine. Think will have my clinqe faces my 5 polysis on the lastest sch mag next month. A staff from SP before she went home still ask me to write an assay for them. Shit my ang moh is so bad.. extra work!!! ma fun la! I went back into the kitchen and ask the chefs what is the proper way of cuttin the mango... wahaha n they try our dish they said is not bad... maybe they are juz pleasin me ! We pack up our stuff n they went home.

i took bus 166 to united square to wait for my cousin to kock off from work and dive me home. was in Starbuck for an hour waitin for her. Luckily i got readin materials with me.. my book on body language n my lastest cleo mag hehe.. After dat we went shoppin went home n reach homeat about 11pm. was so damn tired at last i got chance to zzz before 1 am!
